Tour Itinerary

Contact with us for a day before if you want to add your personal gears (Paddle, saddle…) to our bikes. The tour should be departed by 7.00am in the morning to avoid the tropical heat of Central Vietnam. The team of Hoi An Cycling will meet up you at your hotel. Distance between Hoi An and Hai Van pass is 55km long along the stunning coast. You either can start your ride from your hotel to the pass or just take the bus to the base of the Hai Van Pass (Normally we start riding 5km before the climb for muscles warm-up) then the climb.

The Hai Van Pass crosses over a spur of the Truong Son mountain range that juts out into the sea and serves as a geological and geographical dividing line. It forms a physical boundary between the north and the south of Viet Nam, and in the past has been considered an important strategic frontier post along the north-south road. From the top of the Hai Van Pass, one can admire Lang Co to the north and Da Nang to the south.
Once we have completed our climb, we take a deserved rest, enjoy a cold drink and admire the stunning far reaching views.  After we have rejuvenated our batteries, we cycle another 11km down the other side of the Pass to Lang Co for lunch.  We then take a bus back to Danang where you have the choice of continuing your journey by bus to Hoi An or cycling back along the beautiful coastal road.
